Horses Helping Humans

High Horses has become a Parelli friendly therapeutic center. This past March Sue Miller, our Program Director was able to attend a Horses Helping Humans workshop held at the Central Kentucky Riding for Hope therapeutic riding center in Lexington, Kentucky. Many people came together to learn an overview of therapeutic horsemanship approaches, communication with the horse, safety, staff & volunteer development, problem solving, as well as stress management for horses and humans using natural horsemanship methods. The Parelli Foundation has been very kind to High Horses in the past sending several informative training CD’s that are in the High Horses library. Please reach out the staff if you’d like to borrow a CD.
