Wendy Woods of Temple Grandin Equine Center Visit

FullSizeRenderWe were privileged to have had Wendy Wood, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA, Professor of Occupational Therapy, College of Health and Human Sciences, Director of Research, Temple Grandin Equine Center, College of Agricultural Sciences from Colorado State University visit us yesterday. She came on the recommendation of Adam Daurio from the Temple Grandin Equine Center to learn about our studies in outcomes evaluation. She was very impressed with what she learned from talking to us about how we have been collecting data using GAS goals and independent raters to measure the progress of our riders, giving us quantitative evidence that therapeutic riding makes a difference in the daily lives of its participants.
