What year did you begin your relationship at High Horses? Joined as a staff member in 2013.
How did you become involved with High Horses? I touched base with High Horses when I moved up from Connecticut. I had been an instructor and program manager at Pegasus Therapeutic Riding for 30+ years and wanted to connect with a program in VT.

What is your educational background? Bachelor Degree in Special Education
What are your current or previous career highlights? Planning and implementation of the goal for Pegasus to have a central facility. My pony, Tumbleweed, was National Therapy Horse of the Year in 1998.
What are your credentials related to equine-assisted services? Registered Instructor
What impact do you see with equine-assisted services? Too many to mention….general improvements in sense of well-being and improved ability to partake in activities of daily living.
Did you grow up around horses? Do you currently have horses? How many? Yes, I took lessons at a local stable starting at age 9. I own 2 horses and care for 7 other retired show jumpers at my farm in Windsor.
Where did you grow up? Weston, CT
What are some of your favorite non-horse or therapy-related hobbies? Walking dogs, the garden (mostly perennials)
