Volunteer
Volunteers like you are our life force.
Help us to bring hoofbeats and heartbeats together…and add some regularly scheduled kindness to your week!
Have you ever wanted to learn how to tack or lead a horse? Or do you already have these skills and miss using them? Would you like to help with lessons, walk trails, do barn chores, or organize special events, all the while making friends with humans and horses?
Volunteers are a life force … dedicating thousands of hours each year to keep our programs going.
High Horses is looking for volunteers of all ages and levels of experience. We offer general orientation, along with enrichment workshops and one-to-one mentoring, so that all of us can learn and grow together. Our volunteers donate their time and talents in endless ways, forming a vibrant community with our staff, riders and herd. Whatever way you choose to make a difference, your contributions - and smiles - are vital to our programs.
Why not join us at a place where happiness and healing are always on the schedule!
Our volunteer training program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to make a meaningful impact. Whether you're new to volunteering or looking to refresh your experience, our training sessions provide valuable insights and hands-on practice to ensure you're prepared and confident in your role.
