Frontline Heroes
Support for Veterans, Healthcare Workers, and First Responders
The Frontline Heroes program is designed specifically to support the mental and emotional well-being of military veterans, first responders, and frontline healthcare workers. Through therapeutic activities that involve direct interactions with horses, participants engage in powerful experiences that help build trust, improve communication, and foster resilience.
Working alongside horses, individuals gain new perspectives on stress management, emotional healing, and personal growth. These hands-on activities create a safe space to process challenges, develop coping strategies, and strengthen inner resilience—skills that are vital for those who serve on the frontlines.
Whether you're navigating the complexities of your career or seeking a supportive community, the Frontline Heroes program offers a unique and transformative way to recharge, reconnect, and thrive.
Women Veterans Program
The Women Veterans Program at High Horses is designed specifically to address the unique mental health needs of female veterans who may be struggling with PTSD, military sexual trauma (MST), anxiety, depression, and reintegration challenges.
This program combines equine-assisted therapy, group support, and individual sessions to help veterans reconnect with their sense of self-worth, purpose, and confidence. The group format fosters camaraderie among participants, allowing women veterans to build supportive relationships while sharing their experiences and challenges.
