When Robin Ahrens moved to Thetford, VT in 2021, she considered it a homecoming.  Having attended Dartmouth College, she was excited to explore the Upper Valley at a different time of life.  Robin had a career in marketing/client service in the art world, predominantly at Christie’s.  Further, she is a published author, having written essays for cultural magazines and art catalogs, as well as children’s books.  She proudly raised her own four children, and mentored many others as an athletic coach, writing tutor, and college essay advisor.  Inspired by a friend at High Horses, Robin became a barn and special events volunteer, served on several committees, and joined the Board in 2024.  She lives in a little house in the big woods with her husband and dogs, and enjoys walking, snowshoeing, yoga, and reading.
